History

Over 42 years in business, the Crows Nest Studio was one of the founding Arthur Murray dance studios in Australia, opening in 1968 and still in its present location. Although the premise has been beautifully refurbished, it still enjoys a romantic ambience and has one of the only spring-felt dance floors in Australia, which offers our students cushioned comfort for their feet when learning & dancing.

Dance Classes

We offer PRIVATE, GROUP, PRACTICE TIME, DANCE PARTIES, all at the individual speed & level of each student. Singles & couples, All forms of Social Ballroom & Latin American dancing, Weddings, special occasions, Fun social, Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Swing, Rock 'n' Roll, west coast Swing, Cha Cha , Salsa, Rumba, Bolero, Mambo, Dirty Dancing, Bolero, Samba, Argentine Tango, Quick Step.

OWNER/ MANAGERS - Chris Michaels, Joanne Middonte - Started as instructors at the Crows nest Studio over 21 years ago, & have been owner/Managers for the last 16 years.
Internationally awarded Top Teacher, Specialist, Supervisor, Manager, & Counselor awards, Chris & Joanne take pride now in training their staff & imparting their knowledge that they have acquired over the last 21 years.
Certified Dual Doctrine Examiners, Chris is also the Area Chairman for Arthur Murrays in Australia & Asia is a member of the elite AMII Dance Board
