Already experienced dancers, all of our teachers must go through a rigorous training program.

Nathan

Nathan grew up in New Zealand and started dancing around 25 years ago, taking ballet, jazz and latin american dance lessons. His life-long passion for dance was ignited when he discovered musical theatre and he has appeared in such shows as Westside Story and 42nd Street. He loves to teach and perform and uncover all the different ways people learn.

Best dance tip?

Take your time on the foundations.

Best advice for new students?

Have fun... and never worry about what others think!

Simon

Simon has been dancing around ballroom floors since the age of 11. He started out learning international standard ballroom and it’s his love and passion for dancing that continues to inspire him and the students he teaches.

Favourite dance?

Tango.

Best piece of advice for new students?

Posture… posture… posture! And stop looking down at the floor!!

Best piece of advice for the experienced dancer?

Posture (this never goes away)! And… perseverance and fun are the keys to getting the most out of your dancing.


Lucia

Lucia has been dancing up a storm since she was just 7 years old. She started out learning hip hop & break dancing and is an accomplished and professional teacher who loves to see her students grow.

Favourite dance?

Cha Cha, Argentine Tango & Mambo.

Best advice for the experienced dancer?

Have fun! This is for everyone, no matter your ability. Never stop challenging yourself.

If you weren’t a dancer, what would you be doing?

Production design, dressmaker, drummer in a band, graphic designer, life coach.

Rommel

Rommel started dancing at a young age, falling in love with hip hop and contemporary. When he was teaching in College, he discovered ballroom & latin dancing and hasn’t looked back!

Favourite dance movie?

Dance With Me (Vanessa Williams).

Favourite dance?

Samba for latin/rhythm and Viennese Waltz for ballroom/smooth.

Favourite song to dance to?

Satisfy My Soul.

Best Arthur Murray memory?

Winning the ‘All Stars’ in 2019 and travelling to Las Vegas.
